It’s nice to have pots and pans and such, but it sucks if u don’t have anything to put in them. So, here’s a list of things I’d like to always have.

Oils: olive, vegetable/sunflower, olive+something, pumpkin

Vinegars: apple, wine, balsamic

Spices: sea salt, fine powder salt, black pepper, ground black pepper, ground white pepper, ground chili peppers, dried chili peppers, cinnamon (sticks and ground), baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract, curry, oregano, marjoram, rosemary, coriander, saffron, ginger, garlic powder, dried basil, cloves, paprika powder, cumin powder

Herbs: mint, pepper, basil, rosemary, ginger

Canned (or jarred) goods: corn, red kidney beans, pelati tomato, diced tomato

*mind you, i don’t think jarred is a word for the thing i meant to use it for

Just continuing the previous kitchen list

Since my best friend just told me I’m scaring her with the kitchen utensils and all-round homemaker behavior, I decided to make a list of tools I’d like to have when I have my own place. I’d like to have a tiny workshop thing in a basement or something to that effect, eventually.

Kitchen

One day when I have my own apartment, I’m sure life will be too hectic to remember all the things I wanted to put in it, so I figure I had better keep a list.

Since I’ve recently been banned from all cooking activities in my house (“Why are you cooking when you should be studying?”) I think the kitchen is the best place to start for my list :)OMG! I just love Kitchenaid! Love, love, love it! Love the retro thing they have going. Plus they had all the mixy, blendy stuff I want (and a toaster). I’d prefer it in green or orange or red, but the pink is the only one with the shot of the whole thing.

Also, I should explain the jars: I have a dream of one day making jam and pickling stuff and keeping it all in a separate tiny room, with bags of flour, smaller bags of different spices, seeds and dried fruits.
